Day 365

New Years Eve.... and Day 365

Jan and Kirk came over to eat and play a roll the pig game. After eating and talking so much we never got to the game. I actually stayed up late enough to see the fireworks on the TV of the strip. I'm usually asleep before the fireworks happen.

I can't believe that I made it to day 365 of the challenge. It was getting harder towards the end. Running out of pictures. Didn't think I would ever say that being that I love to take them. It has been fun. Now I need to finish my 365 book.

Day 364

This time of the year I love to have biscotti and what I call fake coffee. I'm not a real coffee drinker.

Day 363

We were doing errands today and the mountains were so pretty with all the new snow. I didn't have my good camera so this is it. It doesn't show how pretty it was.

Day 362

One of John's sons (Michael) in Texas sent us a digital frame and we got it today. I've always wanted one of these. It was loaded with pictures of the family. I love getting pictures for Christmas or anytime.

Day 361

After a lot of time and consideration John finally got him a bigger screen TV. His mom gave him money for Christmas so he bought one. Of course the Tivo wouldn't work because we needed HD and had to buy a stand. One thing leads to many other things. But he is enjoying his TV.

Day 360

It's that time of year again for John. Every year when he gets his two weeks off at Christmas he does a major cleaning...lol He started a little earlier this year but I guess he wanted to get it over with and enjoy the rest of his time off. He looks real safe on that ladder on top of the pool table...He has been doing this every year since I met him. Carry on....

Day 359

Santa came and everyone was happy. I guess he did well. I know he did for me because I got a new laptop. I've been wanting one so I can scrap and watch ustreams of scrapping. Daniel was thrilled with his guitar. I also got Daniel a flying helicopter and he couldn't wait to play with it. It's been awhile since he has gotten a toy....lol I couldn't resist. Tim got an Ipod and gift cards. John scored with a shop vac and some new tools he wanted. We had a very nice Christmas. I love spending time with Daniel.

Day 358

Daniel, John, Tim and I went to see Tron. It was kind of slow at the start but it picked up and I liked it. This movie is more the guy thing. At least for me anyways. Later Daniel and I went to Midnight Mass. It's been awhile for me. We played games so that we would stay awake to go.

Thursday, December 23, 2010

Day 357

John and I went to see the Little Fockers. I really didn't like this one as much as the other ones. They had a few funny parts but I kind of gave it a thumbs down. Later we stopped by Bridget's to deliver her present. We exchange homemade albums every year. This album is so cute. I love it...thanks Bridget. We also had a big tray of cookies, muffins, etc. They were good. And a Christmas candle. I'm going to put pictures of my album on my scrappin blog. Go take a peek.

Day 356

It has rained for about 5 days straight. We are not use to it. This is pictures of my street. It use to flood a lot worse but a few years back they did some grading and now diverts the water somewhere else. But with this much rain this happens.

Day 355

Finished the TH 12 Days of Christmas. I didn't realize how involved it is. But it did make me try techniques that I hadn't done before. I didn't have some of his products so I did use the Cricut for a lot of the stuff.

Day 354

It is just amazing to me how dogs do this. Skippy lays completely flat and stretches and then does the army crawl. I laugh every time I see it. How do they make their legs go like that?

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Day 353

Today must of been another good day to take a ride in the neighborhood. It must be the time of year.

Saturday, December 18, 2010

Day 352

You never know what your going to see in our neighborhood. John took the picture it is a little blurry.

Friday, December 17, 2010

Day 351

Poor Skippy...When I got her groomed it was so short she was shaking. So I went and got her first sweater (jacket). It doesn't seem to bother her which I'm surprised.

Thursday, December 16, 2010

Day 350

When Daniel came over today I looked at his shoes to see what shape they were in. I figured I would get him a pair for Christmas. He told me they are ok mom besides they are comfortable. Oh my..... I think Santa will bring him a pair.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Day 349

Have you been elfed???

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Day 348

Someone had a recipe for Peppermint Bark Popcorn on their blog and it was looking good. So I got the stuff to make it.

Monday, December 13, 2010

Day 347

Skippy went to the groomer today. She was long overdue. I keep her hair pretty short not quite like a Yorkie should be.

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Day 346

Was looking at the Christmas ornaments and took this letter out of the "Letter to Santa" ornament. I hadn't read it in awhile. I think Daniel was eight or nine when he wrote it. I love the PS...I forgot to indent. How cute is that.

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Day 345

We went to Opportunity Village to check out all the lights. I had read in the paper the Live Nativity was going to be at Opportunity Village this year so that's really why I wanted to go. After standing in line for an hour I found out the Live Nativity was at the other OP across town. Ugh... We scooted around the village then went to the other one. We were about an hour early but the place got packed. The bleachers were full and they started seating people in the walkway. I thought the bleacher might collapse. It was the last performance for the year so they tried to get everyone in. It is so beautiful to watch. The live animals were being pretty vocal.

Friday, December 10, 2010

Day 344

It's Christmas time so I had to go visit our neighborhood Reindeer. He was not going to stand for anything. His buddy Reindeer was not with him. I hope nothing happened to him.

Thursday, December 9, 2010

Day 343

I love pine nuts. Someone was selling these on the corner so I stopped and got a bag. John says they taste like turpentine. What does he know.

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Day 342

Bridget's family and I went to Fremont Street to watch Santa and his Elf's zipline downtown and light the Christmas tree. We ran a little late so we missed the zipline but saw him light the tree. And of course the Happiest Mayor in the World "Oscar Goodman" was also helping.

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Day 341

Since the Guitar Center only had one in the style he wanted I zipped across town and picked it up. Yep he's spoiled but that's ok he works, go's to school and makes good grades and a good kid.

Monday, December 6, 2010

Day 340

I have been bugging Daniel for a month about what he wants for Christmas. Today he texted me with the information on what guitar he wants. Like he needs one more guitar. But that is his passion so a guitar it will be.

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Day 339

I wasn't going to do the TH 12 days of Christmas tags but I caved. I look so forward to seeing his tags each day. It's making me use products that have never been opened.

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Day 338

Daniel came over and we were going to play his old PlayStation but it wouldn't work. We were all set to play. The old games is about all I can handle. So we watched a movie instead.

Friday, December 3, 2010

Day 337

Look who's snooping under the tree....Whenever I put the tree up the dogs see the paw stockings and they know I put treats in them. They are worse then Daniel.

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Day 336

Those peanut butter cookies John has been wanting. I turned the Christmas music up loud plugged in the tree lights and went for it. Two of my favorite songs this time of year are John Tesh with Dalia singing "Mother I Miss You" and Harry Belafonte singing "Mary's Boy Child". Mother I Miss You makes me wish I could just laugh and talk to my mom again. It's a sad song but that's ok.

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

Day 335

Been wanting a new glue gun that actually works good. So I had a 50% coupon and away I went. Told John to stuff this thing in my Stocking for Christmas. Saved him the trip. :-)
