Day 90

I'm proud of myself for eating a salad for dinner. I'm sure it would of been more effective if I left out the ranch dressing....shhh....I'm trying to cut down on the fast food that I normally eat all week.

Day 89

Since I can't control myself as you can see from yesterday's post I need to resort to something. Exercise to me is very boring so I dug out the jump robe to spice it up. OK I will first do the bike then jump robe around my house. Maybe I should video the jump robe...lol... Just kidding.

Day 88

I so need to quit eating things like this....I have such a hard time with exercising. It's getting way out of control.

Day 87

Daniel finally had a day off from school and work so we drove out to Bonnie Springs. We had lunch walked around the zoo and watched the shoot outs and hangings in the Old West town. I miss my time with my little guy.

Day 86

The Springs Perserve was selling plants today so John and I decided to check it out. Wasn't real impressed with the size and price of the plants so we looked to see which plants we wanted and went over to Star Nursery and bought them. We are replacing a few that have died along the way.

Day 85

My dogs were barking so I went to see what was going on. I guess the school around the corner decided to take the kids for a walk. Down our street they went. I thought it was cute.

Day 84

Wasn't sure what my POTD was going to be but my FedEx man fixed that with a delivery today. This is a cart I ordered with some of my Cricut Reward points. Since John is retired Air Force I told him if he gathers his military things together I will make him an album.

Day 83

Went to see "Remember Me" with Robert Pattinson. Didn't know anything about the movie so the ending caught me off guard. Dang you Bridget you kinda knew... Wasn't sure that Robert Pattinson can act besides being a vampire but was pleasantly surprised.

Day 82

I drive by this street almost every day. So I decided to stop and take this picture. This was a nickname that everyone called my dad. Don't know how it began but that's the only name I ever heard anyone call him. I think I'm going to hunt down my name and my son's on street signs for a picture.

Day 81

This Taco Bell is out by our house. We do have a lot of horse property in our area. I thought this was so cute. Something you typically don't see at Taco Bell.

Day 80

New Moon at Bridget's house. We put together our scrapbook, ate (the salads were yummy) and then watched the movie. I think I'm changing my Team to Jacob... Sorry Edward you need to buff up and get some color....lol

Day 79

Yes I was at the 12:01am release of the "New Moon" dvd. I got in line about 11:30pm but by the time we left the line was pretty long. I haven't been out and about at this time of night in awhile. Can't wait to watch it tomorrow... Bridget and I saw the movie before it was released at two premiers. I guess we are "Twihards".

Day 78

Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary had a fire this morning. The local vets stepped up and offered help with the animals that had smoke inhalation and other injuries. So sad this Sanctuary has been here along time. Luckily only part of it burned. When I first moved to Vegas 45 years ago this place was way out in the desert pretty much by itself. Now it is surrounded by housing developments and I live in one just down the street.

Day 77

The conservatory at the Bellagio changed the theme out this week so Bridget and I hightailed it over to take some pics. The spade in the picture is 28 feet tall. That kind of tells you how big the praying mantis, ladybugs, butterflies and the hugh pot is with the flowers spilling out. I'm trying to get pictures of each season so I can do an album.

Day 76

This is a picture of something that I really don't care for. John had this pool table in his house before I moved in. It's a single man thing. Since I had pretty much taken over the rest of the house with my stuff I didn't really push getting rid of it. Takes up a lot of space and is used about every 6 months. He has agreed when we move this stays. Yeah.......

Day 75

Daniel had a Guitar Concert tonight. The theme was Guitar Heroes. They played music by Les Paul, Chuck Berry and Jimi Hendrix. I got to the concert early so I would get front row seats since he only has 2 more performances before he graduates in June. Doesn't matter where I sit something is always in the way of his face...lol

Someone always has to make a face...lol That would be Derek on the left.

Day 74

Went to lunch with a couple of my friends (Elisha and Jan) and of course everyone left and I forgot my picture. I thought by carrying my camera in my purse I would remember. So this is where we ate.

Day 73

Been working on the New Moon album again today. I'm done...Yeah Thought I better get the CFS in the mail this week that Bridget and I did. This is a stack of them. Their is almost a 100 cards here.

Day 72

Been working all day on this mini album for The "New Moon" premier at Bridget's next weekend. We are big fans of this saga. Don't have much time to finish the album and get the kits ready. My scrap table is so full of stuff that I have about 6" to actually work in. You should see the floor. John said it's the worst he ever seen it...lol

Day 71

Sometimes when Tim does his laundry and he doesn't have enough white clothes John gives him our white clothes to wash together. I couldn't figure out where he put the clothes after they were dry. So I looked in the dryer and he had folded the socks and put them back in the dryer. I was cracking up....

Day 70

Today was the first day I tried to do a digital. I decided I wasn't going to give up until I dropped this picture of my GD into the Twilight template. I googled how to put pictures into a template with Photoshop. I guess it couldn't get any easier. So I printed the picture in a 12x12 at Costco just to see what it looked like. It looked pretty good but I'm still not sold on digital. A lot faster and I would probably get more pages done but I like the dimension and getting my hands inked. Although I can see where digital would be cheaper since I spend a lot of $ doing one page or album. Not convinced I need to switch yet.

Day 69

Bridget came over and we worked on the Cards for Soldiers. She finished hers but as usual I talk more than I work. Thanks Bridget for the snacks.

Day 68

John off to work today so I made my rounds to the craft stores. While I was out I thought I would go by one of the antique stores. I like to go see if they have anything different to throw in an album or two. Didn't find anything.

Day 67

Having a few issues with our creepy in the pool and thought maybe new filters would help. Not.... We needed to replace these anyway. I won't say how long we have had these. How pretty the new ones look...lol

John and I went to see Alice In Wonderland in Imax 3D.
I loved it.

Day 65

Bridget and I went to the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo at the Riviera Hotel. Should have stayed home. Hardly any vendors. Unless we go out of town the shows here are pretty bad. Except for the Inspiration Unlimited Show at the Greenvalley Ranch in September which we will be attending for the second year. Can't wait.

Day 64

My friend Jan came over today to return my Twilight dvd that she borrowed. She lives pretty far across town so we don't see each other that much but talk a lot on the phone. We have been friends for at least 25 years. After she got here we ran up to Starbucks and sat and talked forever as we do. We have been through a lot of good times and some not so. But have always been there for each other good or bad.

Day 63

This is the dreaded yellow bucket. Been putting this job off for awhile and finally I had to give in. We have a good amount of tile in our house so I resorted to this bucket about a year ago. It does save me a lot of time. Where did the good ole days go when John use to do this....

Day 62

Daniel and I had dinner and then he thought he would give Backgammon another try. Well he still needs to practice....lol He wanted me to take the picture and catch the dice in air. It worked.... Poor kid has been doing acne treatment and his skin is so dry. Hopefully now his lips will stop cracking. That's one of the side effects of this medicine. But it sure has helped his face.

Day 61

Today Cafe Rio was calling my name. They have a Coconut Shrimp Taco with mango sauce special on Tuesday and I must say I love it.

DAY 60

So I was doing dishes and the handle fell off the faucet. This faucet has been an argument for years. John says I yank it and that's why it broke. It has had a slow leak forever. I keep telling him to replace the whole faucet. He keeps buying a part at a time. I'm thinking since he's not really a plumber he doesn't want to replace it. Let's see how long this part lasts.....
