Day 97

When I was going to get the mail I was thinking.... How long has it been since the post office actually delivered mail to my house. Well as good as I can remember it has been about 17 years. The good ole days. Oh well I guess I get more exercise except on days when I drive by it.

Day 96

Whenever we give our dogs the rawhide treats I have to separate them. The little dog growls at the big dog. Go figure...lol So I put Zeus out in the back and he was sadly looking in. I knew I had to take a pic. Wow look how dirty my door looks up close...lol

Day 95

John and I went out to the base today and I have always like this statue of the Thunderbirds.

Day 94

We have had a lot of wind here lately and another tree bites the dust. We haven't had much luck with these California pepper trees. John had to saw it down so he could remove the trunk. Other than that we had a nice quiet Easter Sunday.

Day 93

For my birthday Bridget gave me these pans to make the hard shells for taco salad. I finally made them and we had taco salad for dinner tonight. John and Tim really liked them. They were impressed with the shells. And I must say I was too... Thanks Bridget they were a hit.

Day 92

A new express bus started this week from our end of town to go downtown without any stops in between. If you are a resident you could ride it for free for a week. Bridget and I took the bus so that we could get some pictures of downtown. For one of those albums we never get done... When I was younger we use to go down Fremont Street in a car (you can only walk now) and couldn't wait to see the Howdy Partner sign. His elbow would bend and he would say "Hoooowdy Partner".

Day 91

Looks like a normal day for grocery shopping but not in my house. John does all the shopping for food. I can't remember the last time I shopped alone except for scrapbooking stuff. I have decided that I'm going to start cooking more when he's home so we are not eating out so much. Let's see how long this lasts.
