Day 59

Today was a pretty quiet day. John decided to change the oil in my car. Last time I had the dealer change my oil they left paper somewhere in the oil change and it messed up my car and took them months to figure out the problem so John does it himself now.

Day 58

John is still working in the yard getting it ready for spring. I told him to trim these Texas Ranger plants way down. He certainly did...lol I can't stand these plants but men like them I think because they require very little maintenance. Actually I was hoping they would croak but they are so darn hardy.

Day 57

Bridget and I went to the taping of the More Show at the Fox 5 TV Station. It was interesting to watch how they do these live shows. The guests were Bill Engvall and Al B Sure. I didn't remember Al B's music back in the 80's. They took a group shot of us with the guests but haven't received it yet. I will post it when they email it to us. It was pretty fun to meet the anchors for the show especially Jason he is a cutie.....

Day 56

Met my friend Teresa and had lunch at Applebee's. The lunch special with the spinach salad was really good. Also had a follow up Dr. appt. and gave him the candy bouquet. He wanted to know where I got it and I told him I made it and he said "Whoa". He and his office really liked it. A kid was in the waiting room and kept eyeballing my candy and I had it in a bag to cover most of it. It's amazing how kids notice things...lol

Day 55

Tomorrow I have a follow up with my Dr. that did my sinus surgery. His office has been so nice every since the first day I made an appointment and whenever I have called with a question. Which in my case has been rare with Dr. offices. So I wanted to give them a little something. I had seen these done before and have always wanted to make one. So this is my version of the candy bouquet. Was a little more involved than I thought to make.... And yes I ate all the mistake ones....lol

Day 54

This is one of the best signs of the year. It will soon be warmer and leaves on all our trees.

Day 53

My husband said he was going to Sam's today so I asked him to refill my glass cleaner. When he was ready to leave I asked him if he remembered and he pulled his shirt up real fast like he was going to draw a gun. In his pockets were the bottles. I was cracking up.
