Went to Mammoth Cave. Every where we go we take the quads on a trail to get to the sites.

We are loaded up and ready to leave tomorrow for Duck Creek Utah. We were going on Wednesday but decided to step it up a couple of days.

Day 177

This looks like it should be a happy picture of candy. I was officially told last week that I have acid reflux but with more testing it is probably Larnygopharyngeal reflux. Have been having issues for several months (almost a year) and getting worse and finally my ENT made it official. I'm having more test to determine what can be done. I have started a very strict diet which means no chocolate, caffeine, spicy food and just about everything else. Which is all the stuff that I eat all the time. But if the diet makes me feel better it will be worth it. Plus I need to loose some pounds anyway. So the jelly beans are about the only candy I can have. Not my favorite but I'll take it.

Lately this is what I have been doing on Friday & Saturday nights. Laura at Following The Paper Trail and Kathy at Paper Phenomenon have classes on Ustream. I love the albums that these two create.

My table in my scrap room is looking a little overwhelmed again. Trying to finish up this album for Daniel's GF from Prom.

The other day I said on Lorrie's blog that our flowers were all weeping because it's so hot. Lorrie always has pictures of pretty flowers. Well today when I was in the pool I was looking around and went oh I still have a couple of plants that have flowers blooming. So I grabbed my camera and here we go. I think they are hibiscus.

Started reading this book today. Going to Utah for the 4th of July so I should finish it then. Just what I need to do is start another project. Yikes....

Day 172

John and I had a lot of running around today. Tim had to be re-registered in school again. Food shopping for John's work week and Dr. appts. Stopped by the library and all these were waiting for us. Since Charlee is gone I will be able to watch some of these movies and do some scrapbooking. When I can't scrapbook for a few days I get a little stir crazy. lol I did watch "Precious" today. I think the acting was good but the story line a little intense.

Day 171

Happy Father's Day John....Sandra wanted to take John to lunch/dinner for Father's Day so he picked Jason's Deli. Afterwards another pool day. Sandra decided to try the slide out too...lol

Day 170

Grandpa was teaching Charlee to swim. She finally went off the slide and swam to the side. She wants to hold her nose so if she wears the goggles she can't. She couldn't wait to tell her mom when she came.

Day 169

Went to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. I loved it. Daniel, Trish and I all cried. If you look next to Charlee you see friends of mine Lexie and Jerry from Idaho. They just happened to be going to the same show same time.

Day 168

Charlee, Bridget and I went to the conservatory at the Bellagio today. They repeated the same scenery that we saw earlier this year.

Charlee has decided I need to take a picture of her in the tub with bubbles every time she stays with me.

My ATG arrived today. When I totaled what I spend for adhesive it was a lot more than this tape cost. So after the initial cost of buying the gun I will save money. Ok that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Day 167

Charlee and I went out to Bonnie Springs so she could go to the petting zoo. I told her to hold her hand out flat so the geese could eat the food and the aggressive one tried to bite her finger off....lol She was a little gun shy after that about feeding the animals. Sorry Charlee. Then we went again to Cafe Rio to eat lunch. She loves the food. I think I have started a bad habit for her. Oh well they don't have Cafe Rio's in Bullhead.

Day 166

This one keeps me pretty busy. We did some accessories for her flat me's this morning. Went to lunch and the mall. Then she wanted to go swimming. I don't know about her but I'm tired....lol

Day 165

John and I went to Searchlight today to meet Sandra and bring Charlee back for the week. After she saw our 365 Flat Me's she had to make some. Meet Flat Charlee and Flat Sandra.

Day 164

Today was Tim's BD so he wanted to eat shrimp. So we had shrimp scampi. This is his 2nd plate so I guess he liked it.

Earlier this week I noticed water bubbling up in the front yard where it shouldn't be. When John checked today we had two leaks going on. Kind of amazed me that we had two at the same time. All fixed now.

This is a piggy bank that I have been holding for Daniel since he was born. His GM and GF Casados would put $ in it every time they came to visit from California. His GF has since passed away. I decided to let Daniel open it for his 18th BD and Graduation. It is pretty stuffed with $.

Day 161

I spend a lot of time at the Library. We rent a lot of movies. I use to buy them but now I just buy the ones I really like. I spend almost as much time here as at M's and J's. JK

Feeling a little empty nest around here. My twins left home a few days ago. :(

Congrats to my Daniel...
Yep he graduated today. It was a Happy and Sad day for me as my baby boy graduated. He has always been such a good kid. I'm so proud of him. He graduated with some honors. He got the Advanced Diploma Candidate medal for taking advanced classes. He got the Academic Excellence medal for having a GP of 3.8 or higher. He also got the President's Award for Educational Excellence which you must attain a 3.5 or above GP for ACT, SAT or any achievement testing. He also received the Millennium Scholarship.
He didn't take after his mother for school achievements...lol During the ceremony the dance team performed which included Daniel's GF Trish.

Day 158

Happy 18th Birthday Daniel!!!!!Ok so Bridget gave me the idea to send him on a scavenger hunt. So for his 18th BD that's what I did. He had to dress this way at every location he went to. First stop was the car wash. Second stop was Subway. Third stop Library. Fourth stop was Zumiez in the Meadows Mall. The last stop was Red Lobster for dinner. I think he was embarrassed but with all the gift cards I'm sure it was worth it to him. Trish took this picture of him in the play area at the mall. She did a great job of getting pictures.

Day 157

Doesn't John look cute in his floaty. I think today the temp was 110°. I already am not liking the summer. It went from the 80's to this in about 1 or 2 weeks. We never seem to get a gradual turn to hot. I'm ready for retirement in Utah.......

Day 156

I had heard a lot about this movie so I finally watched it. I thought it was pretty disturbing of what they do to the dolphins. Had to admire the guy that heads up this fight against the killing of them. He was the trainer of the original TV show "Flipper". If you haven't seen it I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Day 155

Went to Sammy's Woodfired Pizza for lunch with a couple of friends today. Jackie (middle) was in town from Florida and Elisha (right) we use to work together. Jackie moved about 4 years ago and comes back to Vegas for company meetings so we try to get together when she has extra time. Had a lot of catching up to do and talked for about 2½ hours. I had to leave for an appointment and they stayed and carried on.

Day 154

Enough of the Twins, huh? Couldn't resist this picture. I started feeling bad that mom might not be getting enough food. So I went out and bought a bag of wild bird seed. It's on the ladder so my dogs won't eat it. John thinks I have totally flipped. Probably only be a few more days and they will fly away. Mom can't sit in the nest anymore so she sits on the branch.

Day 153

Back to having Tivo/cable problems. So again since my Tivo didn't record one of my shows I had to watch it on the computer. I never had these problems until I went to HD. Of course Tivo says its the cable card and the cable co will blame Tivo. Another appointment tomorrow with the cable co. See what they say. Grrrrrr!!!!

Day 152

Went to Popeye's to have dinner. It just happened that Daniel was able to take his break. Usually they are too busy for him to take it then. Them Tuesday specials.

Couldn't go without an update on my twin Dove's. They are so big I'm surprised they don't fall out of the nest. One of the babies is in front of mom. They will probably be flying away soon. :(
