Day 31

Every room I move to my dogs follow me. This is my biggest furbaby "Zeus". He was my husbands dog before I came along. I think he's mine now.

Day 30

Today I wasn't feeling very well with this sinus thing going on. So I spent all day in bed getting caught up on my programs. Actually I spent most of the day sleeping but I tried to get caught up. Hopefully this sinus thing will be going away shortly.

Day 29

Today my POTD is my sons guitar stand. He has many and loves his guitars. I smile every time I look at them because I know how much he loves them. I already told him when I move to my retirement city that I was taking this stand with me. Guitars and all. I always want to be able to look at them and be reminded of him....

Day 28

I was having a craving for Chili's chips and salsa. So Bridget and I indulged. I really like the new Green Chili Chicken Soup.

Day 27

Another day of rain. Other places probably don't think this is a big deal but here it is. We have already had more rain this year then all of last year. Another lazy day just worked on a Valentine project.

Day 26

Today was a pretty quiet and lazy day. Needed a "Sweet Tea" fix.

Day 25

Now much happening today. Just kind of a lazy day except for the husband in the garage doing his routine. I wish I had one. He's making me look real bad..lol

Day 24

Daniel couldn't wait to play me backgammon again. He has been practicing because he beat me 3 out of 5...lol Then we played Scrabble with Tim and John. I took that one.

Day 23

After about 3 hours of sleep I had lunch with two of my Sprint (Centel) ex-coworker buddies. Mary, Teresa and myself. We went to Mimi's and talked for about 4½ hours. Great getting caught up on every one's life since the last time we met. Hope we get together more often....

Day 22

Made it to the CHA Craftshow. Leticia, Bridget, Sandy and myself at the Provo Craft booth. We bumped into Sandy from Ukiah in the booth and what a nice and crazy lady like us. How about these Chef Hats given to us by Provo Craft? A little disappointed in the show. Long day but after a big accident on the Hwy and Mtn Pass closed for weather we came home the back way through Pahrump. Husband had the electric blanket on waiting for me. Nice.....

Day 21

Another day of rain which is very unusual for us. But we really can use it. This is a picture of my pool almost ready to overflow. oops....

Day 20

Today Bridget her mom Anita and I went to the Conservatory at the Bellagio. They change the themes several times a year. Now they have Chinese New Years. I love taking pictures for each theme they are always so colorful. My favorite of this theme is the Tiger... All the animals are made of plants and flowers.

Day 19

I'm not sure what this was all about but my husband and I were having lunch at In-N-Out and they were sitting next to us. It really was quite funny. Asked if I could take a picture and they said OK.

Day 18

It has been raining off and on all day which is very unusual for us. Didn't venture to far out the door to take this picture. I like days like this every once in awhile.

Day 17

I was looking at this area in my scrap room and was thinking I really need to do something about this.... As of now I still haven't done anything with it...lol Oh well, always tomorrow.

Finished this Valentine's Album for my son's girlfriend today. If you go to my other blog I have more pictures with it opened.

Day 15

This is a picture of the mountains that we see when we are in our front yard. The dirt in the foreground is where we use to ride our ATV's from our house to the desert and ride around. The BLM has now posted signs to keep out. If you look real close some people are out there. lol....Who pays attention to the BLM...

Day 14

Daniel only had half days of school this week so after school we went and had lunch. He just learned how to play backgammon so he thought he was going to beat me. He didn't realize way back when I use to play it alot. I think we played for about 4 hours. He was trying to win.... lol And of course he's texting the whole time.

Day 13

Today I went to the photography studio that took Daniel's HS graduation pictures to order some. His yearbook has two pictures one in a tux and the other with him posing with his guitar since that was his major. Can't believe he is about to graduate.

Day 12

John gave this to me for Christmas so that I could play the solitaire game "Forty Thieves". Not too sure this was a good idea. It is so addicting that I stay on the computer forever playing it.

Day 11

This is a picture of a once unoccupied bedroom in our house. As of today that room has been occupied again. My husbands youngest son has returned home. Since he's been floating through life with no job and didn't finish school he has decided to go back to school. I just hope he is serious about it.

Day 10

Today my husband (I call him Farmer John when he has his hat on...lol) was working in the yard since it was such a beautiful day. Trying to get all the plants trimmed and ready for spring. Dogs had to help.

Day 9

Had to mostly run errands today. Went to Costco to pick up my first week of pics for the 365.

Day 6

Today I had to go to have a Sinus CT. Been having problems but my Dr. wanted to rule out other things before I'm probably off to an allergist again. Did the series of shots about 10 years ago so I guess it probably has returned. Ugh.....

Day 5

Today Bridget and I went to lunch. We took a picture but it was sooo bad we decided not to use it on each of our blogs. lol.. So my POTD is of my new much slimmer camera that I bought on the way home to keep in my purse so I can take pics for the 365. Just what I need is another camera. Shhh husband doesn't know...

Day 4

Debated on putting these pictures up today but it is what it is. A gunman entered the Courthouse today and opened fire killing a security guard and wounded a US Marshall. I heard on the news they locked down my sons school which was nearby. I texted him to see what was happening and here's what he told me... We're in lock down in the theater. There's cops guarding the door with big guns.
The news had said they evacuated the courthouse and took the people to my sons school to be safe. What a sad day for the families. Also a sad day for the school kids that were probably scared as I would be. I'm just glad my son is ok....

Day 3

This is my lonely bike waiting for me to use it. I moved it back in its spot today since I took the Christmas tree down. Now all I need to do is sit on it and spin. Exercise is just soooo hard for me. When I grow up I want to be like Bridget L. :)

Day 2

This is my husband "John" cleaning the shutters. Every Christmas he gets 2 weeks off and he vacuums all the high shelves and oils all the cabinets. Which I do appreciate but he is driving me crazy with this cleaning thing.
Stop cleaning so I don't feel guilty and can be scrapping....lol

My very first 365 post

You might ask "What the heck is this?" Well, its a dozen homemade tamales. Every New Years it's our tradition to have them on New Years Day. Suppose to be good luck... Made homemade Spanish rice and beans to go along with these delicious tamales.
